Baltimore City Planning
Mr. Stosur hasn't addressed what is probably one of the biggest drawbacks of living in the city of Baltimore. The sad fact is that a tiny percentage of city residents pay the most significant part of the city's upkeep, with no tangible results unless you like more dirt, fewer garbage pickups, increased crime, and an unresponsive city government. Perhaps a little less effort at catering to tourists and sports enthusiasts, with a little more effort at improving the lives and conditions of the thousands of poverty-level city residents, might help turn the tide. Baltimore continues to be a second-rate city, and its future, to me, looks a dim as ever.
