I'm a bit of a country person myself. I like the openness that the countryside provides, but there's not much opportunity there. I'm an online freelancer, but I doubt most people can hack that kind of lifestyle so I'm not really surprised that these massive cities are growing at quite a clip. I just hope we don't become like Coruscant from Star Wars. (Planet wide city).
