Transit to stadium
Why should the stadium be any different than any other part of Miami? When I lived there in the 80's only the inner city to the charity hospital and then to the justice department were connected. A very odd circuit for any bus system. It did make it a lot easier for those who were within walking distance to start with! I don't even know why they refer to it as a transit system, it is more like a random bus system run by people who don't want buses stopping in their neighborhood.

The argument I always heard about the need for a new stadium was that people were not coming to the games because it was such a pain to get there. So what was the point if the new stadium, albeit closer, is still a pain to get to? It's not the extra 10 minutes driving that is the problem.
If taking public transit means multiple mode transfers (car-to-bus-to-rail-to-bus) and waits at each, few are going to choose it over driving. Best build some more parking, or forget it.
