Clean energy milestone: $1 trillion of investment

Who was it that told me I was wrong last week when I said billions, possibly trillions had be invested in clean energy since the 1970s?

At the time I was talking just US federal money, and I was right, but this shows the real numbers to be much higher when the money of other countries and private money are included.

Ever notice that the more the government "invests" on problems like "poverty", "education" or "alternative energy", the bigger the problems just seem to get?

The article is about all investment in clean energy of which government investment is only a part, less than 25% I'd guess.
