Maybe the technology can be applied to the skin in the future. But both altering eye and skin color is medically unnecessary and otherwise a luxury for the self centered.

It's likely that those that want to permanently alter their eyes, are the same ones that still wear fur coats and have ivory hair combs, to say the least.

Incidentally, does anyone know how many test animals were blinded as the result of testing the laser?
