Innovative camping trailer
35 years ago, in my country -Argentina- was regularly comercialized a similar trailer named "BOYITA" and nowaday there are several of them in use yet.-

After seeing one of these things floating in a lake, off in the distance, how many people will call the police and say, "Hey. There's somebody's camper floating in the lake."?

Floating caravan
Like dfelix, I too, would prefer a houseboat on a trailer. Afterall, if I'm going to the lake for the weekend, I'm going into the water and it would be far better with a houseboat than a dinky little camper (caravan). Sorry, but I gotta vote 'no' on this idea unless it's light enough to be hauled by my bicycle.

The problem with "fusion" concepts like this...
...is usually that you get the worst of both. "Flying cars" is a good example. Looks like a mediocre boat and a compromised camper.
