Actually, this experiment just proves that light can't go faster than light.

All rest mass particles, like protons, neutrons, electrons, and you and me are limited to travel at slower than light speed. But, that is still in a local space. related to a viewpoint from very far away, we are in fact moving faster than light, right now. It all depends on how you look at it, and from where.
