There have been so many promises made, "this could", "that will", but there are still no new and practical changes in checking blood glucose for diabethics. Maybe there will be some drastic advancement in the field some day, but I won't hold my breath until then.
But don't stop trying. Maybe some day...

Shades of Peter Hamilton
I think his syfy was the first I seen that used digital Tattoos as a link for all kinds of things. This could be a real ground breaking application.
