You see with the ADA the toilets have to be a certain size and a certain space. Bathroom 'real estate' is at a premium for most places and any remodeling would force the modifications for the purported handicapped people.
A friend talked about designing bathroom accommodations for a restaurant. He made the men's room as usual but only one commode for the ladies. I told him to oust the urinal change the spacing and put in two commodes for the ladies. When you have a lot of women someplace that draws the guys. And the guys spend a lot of money . . .
He didn't like that idea and didn't do it.
