I see to recall this from either the late 80's or early 90's.
You had a plastic device with a paper sleeve that was thrown away after
used. It was all the rage for 15 minutes, but it turned out that it was just
really considered silly by the ladies and did not sell for long.

The obstacle is not so much the ability to stand up, but rather the type
of clothes women wear and the speed in which they can dress and
redress with a modicum of dignity.
