The logic of we 'dont understand what we are doing' is lacking. We have a very good idea now of what is not happening. CO2 is not causing a rise in global temperatures. Human beings are not causing a major rise in the CO2 level. Sea Level is not rising more now than in the historic past. There is no reason to ruin our economy based on computer models that have been proven to be simply wrong.

This is really understated, as too many of us really do not understand the consequences of our actions. And, as usual, our pursuit to find answers is typcially short sighted, and too often ends up compounding the problem.Of all the 'E' issues (Economy, Energy, Education, Environment...) we can't move forward without clean air, clean water, and healthy soils to grow our food. What I truly don't understand is attitudes like the 'pizzaman' above. Just stick our heads in the sand?

CO2 constitutes only .2 % of our atmosphere. It is about 385 ppm in our air. To get to dangerous levels you need to be in the 10,000 to 20,000 ppm. CO2 is plant food. Our oceans spew out more CO2 than we do. In the age of the dinosaurs our atmosphere had 7000-8000 ppm of CO2.It is getting colder not warmer. This is one of the coldest springs I can remember.Global Warming is a man-made allright...created by people who don't understand science or scientists with a hidden agenda.
