Dixon Golf Balls
"Sumi's Smart Picks: Dixon Golf Balls"
Dixon golf balls is a ripoff! Dixon made me an offer a couple of months ago.
Send us $30 plus shipping and handling and we will send you certificates for 90 golf balls. Fine! I sent the money and Dixon sent me a book of certificates. Not a bad price for 30 golf balls, right? Wrong!
I started sending in the certificates for 3 golf balls at a time as per Dixon instructions. Each time I received a sleeve of three balls, postage paid. I would send the next certificate and enclose the cardboard sleeve from the previous one to be returned to the company for recycling. This went on for five certificates that I used to far.
So, yesterday I get a notice from Dixon that it could no longer afford to send the 3-ball sleeve postage-free. Now I have to send them $2.22 with each certificate. Now the balls cost me more than a dollar each. I think it was a gimmick to get me sucked in.
Dixon made a contract with me which I, and they, agreed to. They need to honor this contract.
Now I either pay the $2.22 for shipping and handling or I am stuck with 15 balls that I paid $2.47 each. I can buy ProV1s for that price.
