cars future?
If it has wheels for other than parking it is pure BULL. It must fly and park in a one car garage to be of any use, with a 5000 mile range or more to the next pit stop. Otherwise the loss of freedom of all kinds will be immense. It appears that the people at Stanford, are well within the box. Considering that its Stanford, that is really bad.

At Stanford, cars of the future
Why does the comparison for hybrid versus gasoline engine always feature a Prius and a gas operated car such as Civic? Honda has a Hybrid Civic (four doors) and Accord, my wife has the civic and averages 54+ mpg (it can blow the Prius off the road as well). I own the Honda Accord Hybrid with highway driving 36+ mpg, average speed on cruise control is 70 mph.

It is a shame we will never see the Honda Clarion on the road!

Solar-powered automobiles are pretty amazing. I hope they can make them work and be cost effective for the owners, as well as to manufacture. Landscape Services in San Jose
