The United States has a higher infant mortality rate than just about every modern country; it's one of the highest. This has nothing to do with "global climate change", and everything to do with common practice. In Europe, where every country has a lower infant mortality rate than the US, at least 80% of all births are attended by a midwife, and Cesarian sections are rare.
