Very cool stuff he's doing. I hope it inspires other architecture departments around the country to start looking for locally sustainable raw materials, especially invasive plants, for local consumption. Most regions have several species of plants that have been introduced and are wiping out local "native" ecosystems, so it would be great to tap into this problem with such a solution. It's a classic lemonade-from-lemons type of story.
