RE: Cobalt, American Process ramp up biobutanol production
These alternative fuels operations must be commercially viable w/o suckling at the teat of the American taxpayer. I sincerly hope that biobutanol production can make a go of it w/o consuming food crops or by creating a market for the biomass produced in the process of food crop production to give the producer a secondary revenue stream.

Anything but corn.
Over 30 percent of US grown corn was used for ethanol in 2009. The not yet final 2010 figures should be close to 40 percent.

Use grass clippings from my lawn if you have to, just give us our food back.
