        <description><![CDATA[I had a job offer (salary / location not a fit) to develop exactly these kinds of haptic-based products for surgery, but not only restricted to eye surgery. Not sure why the NIH is funding this - there's plenty of for-profit potential in it, and companies adapting existing haptic technologies for surgical applications.]]></description>
