view is that even if we were to totally cease adding CO2 to the
atmosphere by noon today, it would be too late. The damage has
been long since done.

So, it appears that we will have to adapt to climate change
anyway, which has always been my point. It was going to happen
weather we gave up carbon altogether, or if the Chinese put
another half-billion Hummers on the road.
