My garage/workshop is filled with Harbor freight tools, all made in china, and they work fine. stuff like digital micrometers, electronic VOM's, hydraulic presses, precision machine tools, pneumatic tools. If you think Chinese stuff is junk, you haven't been paying attention. If I had to buy American stuff, my shop would be bare; I couldn't afford one tenth of the equipment I own.
