RE: Introducing Comac, China's answer to Boeing and Airbus
This article was a piece of fluff. Both the Canadian firm Bombardier and the Brazilian firm Embraer are making very serviceable narrow-body aircraft in the size range of the Chinese C919. Also, a firm in the former Soviet Union, United Aircraft, has a B-737 equivalent that has just lost a contract to Boeing. To write an article without surveying the other possibilities shows either ignorance of the field or indifference to anything not made in Europe, China, or the USA.
