Montreal and SF (specially coming from San Jose) can get pretty tiring but just at peak time that does not last as long as in Mexico or NYC.

Thankfully now I live in a decent sized city (Kitchener, Ontario) and my commute is 10 minutes from the city's North outskirt to downtown.
