I live in Tampa and do not know why a high speed rail line is needed between Tampa and Orlando? I do not know anyone that needs to commute between the cities on a daily basis?

But if we are going to spend tax payer dollars to build this project we should maximize benefits to the taxpayer by only considering US based companies to build it!
