RE: To fight sexual abuse, wrestler Mick Foley learns the computer
While on the subject of sexual assault:
In the wake of the unfortunate death of Michael Jackson, I decided to appreciate stars like Madonna while they are still with us. While reading a recent biography of the legendary queen of popular music, I learned that one of the unfortunate events in her life was being sexually assaulted in New York. Nobody was ever arrested for this, as M. was too embarrassed to report it.
Doesn't it make us all angry, that somewhere in New York City there's a creepy guy who might, for all I know, be bragging to his buddies (at least, those he trusts) that he sexually assaulted this great entertainment world personality and got away with it?
This is one reason we need a way for victims of rape and incest to report such things, hopefully leading to arrest and conviction of those who are guilty. Kudos to Mick Foley for all he's doing for the cause.
