In fifteen years' time...
In fifteen years' time, all internal-combustion cars will have
regenerative braking, along with an integrated starter-alternator
giving instant start and replacing the flywheel. Probably some
photovoltaic exterior surfaces, too. The whole change will benefit
performance, economy (and therefore emissions) and packaging (interior
space). We won't think of them as hybrids, just better cars and they'll
make today's Prius look prehistoric. No, wait - "Priustoric".
