Huh? What's hypothetical in my post?
Specifically the 40% increase in atmospheric CO2 is a physical fact that's been measured. The current level of CO2 is 395 ppm. For thousands of years up until the 1830's the level of CO2 hovered around 280 ppm.
((395 ppm - 280 ppm)/280 ppm) * 100 = 41.1%
You can bluster all you want about the science of climate change being refuted as junk science but that doesn't make it so. Most of the things the climate scientists said are going to happen are continuing to happen often faster than the scientists said they would.
When I offered you specific examples with references on another post you just dismiss it as junk science without offering any references of your own. Science is evidence based so you can't just dismiss it without specific evidence of your own.
In a way I feel sorry for you. If you can't eventually get past your rejection of the reality of climate science you'll just become a frustrated bitter old man/woman marginalized by your intransigence.
