Election Day should be a national holiday
The first Tuesday in November election day should be a national holiday every other year. Or we should switch it to occur on Sunday, or how about 4 days to vote, Saturday through Tuesday. Two hours off work to vote is a joke if the line is hours long. In a country that professes to give all citizens the right to representation there should be no question whether you have the time to cast you ballot.
And as far as voter ID, your right to vote should be determined at the time you register to vote and the only ID required in a polling place should be your registration card.
