Trying to be a world dominating military bankrupted the USSR. Lucky for them they have succeeded in becoming a fossil fuel extraction economy. China's version will be to burn even more coal. And wow, the U.S. could sell them our clean coal technology, but wait it's still just an advertising campaign.
