I chime in every now and then, usually to post a disagreement with the author's POV or conclusions. But it's important to point out what's good too. I just think this article was well-written.

I'm interested in big data analysis but have never come across an article about how it works, i.e. the algorithms used to search data and find what's pertinent, the data mining aspect of it, etc. Perhaps someone at SP, perhaps yourself or Joe McKendrick, can write a high-level overview of how big data analysis works
