You are so right about the roles of these 2 federal government branches. Thomas Jefferson distrusted the idea of the Presidency and showed outright disdain for the Judicial branch. He always pointed out that the "closest" representation of the people was ensconced in the House of Representatives.
Look to Congress for the future. The President can only get things done by working WITH Congress, not by standing against them.
