Why the assumption that science and research will be hurt? They weren't hurt before Obama, and there is no evidence that he has helped, only that the government has taken a larger role with our tax dollars. What if I don't want my tax dollars to go to harmful government research that exploits animals? What if a private group can do a better and safer job? What if Romney can use his influence to increase private research that is better, cheaper, safer, and creates more jobs than the government can? For example, Fedex and UPS still do a better job than the post office!
