..."nobody is forcing you to ______________." [fill in the blank: drive, take a plane, take a train, go to a ball game, apply for a job, vote, go out for sports, etc.] I almost put "go to school" in that list, then thought, "Oh, wait, somebody IS forcing you to do that." In Europe they would add "walk down the street." It won't be long before Americans will be hearing "papers please" on a regular basis.
