Atlanta
Atlanta tried privatizing it's water system in 1999. It didn't work out so well.

It is bad enough some states like Colorado lay claim to the rain water that falls on your land.
You do not need private companies involved.

Water and heaven
The water is free since the beginning until the end, We do pay for pipeline maintenance and government suppression as long as we can or live. Keep the water clean with a clean nature and forrests. No oil, plastic or other toxic pollution in nature and water will always be free..... So in this time you also pay for cleaning up the (water) mess your parents made.
