Viral and bacterial pinkeye (also called conjunctivitis) are contagious and spread very easily. Tears don't have any effect on them. But it's worth a shot to see if they can knock out certain super bugs.]]></description>

The use of keratin based drugs to treat infections in other parts of the body is not going to make bacteria that attack the eyes any more resistant to keratin than they already are.]]></description>
