Being that women are outnumbering men in college, maybe we should be talking about empowering men?
How about just empowering people?
Oh, yeah, that's what the United States Constituion did. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

More leadership is needed
Great article. There are, in fact, a lot of great women leading the change towards a more sustainable built environment. But I think a lot more leadership--from men and women--is needed! The Emerge Leadership Project helps green building advocates hone their skills to be more effective leaders from anywhere along their career path. www.emergeleadership.net
