Once upon a time...
Apparently our future is going to be cramped and god awful ugly if left to young architects. Architecture use to have a meaningful relationship with function (including being environmentally functionable) as well as engineering, and to a very conspicuous degree that has been lost in the present. Slapping solar panels on what usually looks like a shipping container, or a stack of them - doesn't qualify as futuristic, architecture, or even good taste.
