Businesses will get access - just give them time
Mari

I know that it was incredibly frustrating waiting for Google's real intentions - but now that its arrived, doesn't their past silence and coyness make sense? A giant timer/fuse was lit yesterday and now Apple, Microsoft and the Cable industry have a blueprint for "how to compete with Google/"

So please don't even go there with "will Google's network be open?" They'll get there - just give them some more time. Businesses are key - whether they be 'brick and mortar' or virtual on-line.

But you hear the part about FREE NET ACCESS to all?

Here's my take on what this all means - to Interactive TV: http://marc.digitalcitymechanics.com/2012/07/26/google-fiber-tv-the-promise-of-interactive-tv/

Proof is in the pudding
Marc- Frankly, I'm not interested in Google opening up its network to other TV services. But I would like to see it open for other experimentation. I see the high-speed network in KC as fertile ground for application development.
