Rather than harvesting stem cells, it would be more effective & less controversial to induce normal cells in damaged tissue to revert to stem cells or progenitor cell within the patients own body. A little research into herbal and traditional medicine would turn up more than a few methods. Of course you could always ask several experts who are well trained in such disciplines such as myself.
