As Spain lurches further towards insolvency...
...the only question is why they continued to fund this nonsense as long as they did. Their film policy didn't work any better than their green economy agenda.

No room for growth culturally or economically
Cinema and theatre is already undervalued as a form of entertainment when you have television and internet videos for free, so I think it is a great shame, that this will make it even more difficult for cinemas to continue operating.

Until the recent cuts in Spain, an indie film maker I know was jealous of her Spanish counterparts.

As she put it, they could put out crap and make far more money in one year than she makes in 5 years.
