but the Gideon bibles are placed there with the intent that they can be taken home.

Are they providing other alternative fiction, other than the Bible/Koran ?

Newcastle... I would be surprised if the TV was not taken as well, as your car if not under armed guard! Just wait till somebody gets a room service pass key they will get the lot in one go sell at local pub for 20 pounds each..(grin)
