How do we fight pollution when the big corporations have the politicians in their hip pocket. Recently there is 'much-to-do' concerning natural gas discovered beneath our feet and the energy companies will do anything and everything to get it. On top of that the state (NY) wants it so they have begun taxing people off their land. Those that remain have to deal with the energy companies pushing the liability of their pollution onto the drilling company that actually does the drilling. Dummy corporations that have no assets to seize. So the residents are left with polluted ground water while energy companies walk off with the wealth and the politicians retire to some warm beach.
