They ask for a water bottle and get body modifications instead? Perhaps there was something lost in the translation. Either way, in a world described as above, who is going to do all these body modifications to all the survivors? Where are all the supplies supposed to come from? I don't think a medical supply system is going to be running during the Apocalypse, much less a candy factory.
Just think of all the millions of dollars sunk into this little scheme already..... They could have worked on a bottle that takes moisture out of the air to replenish itself, that would be more ideal....
