Wasted Article
How nice of you all to put up two graphics that could not be read and then fail to provide the source so that they could be utilized. You have wasted your own and my time.

larger graphics
Maderaroja: Sorry about that. Fair complaint, I've added a link to the State of Calif. site where you can download larger versions of the graphics. I've included the salient points in the text, but there is some interesting additional information in the graphics.

Yup, first in the nation to bankruptcy. How this state can continue down the path of penalizing businesses and consumers with massive new regulations and taxes, all the while facing massive deficits, watching its cities declare bankruptcy and its homeowners face foreclosure, is beyond me.
I grew up in California during the '60s and '70s and lived there until the early '90s. Watching this once great state go down the tubes because of its nutty schemes and navel gazing is a great sadness.
