Now: Which story do you think is more true?
Right now, neither one is true, because they are attempts to predict the future, not statements about facts that have already been determined.
And right now, both are quite possible. The actions of our political bosses in the next few years will determine which future we live in.
If they allow the energy industry to continue to supply our needs cheaply, story 1 will happen.
If instead, they allow the lying eco-alarmists to hamstring the producers and users of energy with harmful taxes and regulations, they will doom us to story 2, maybe forever.
Only one of these alternatives is acceptable -- the first. The other represents treason against the human race.
