Just what we need - more and instant drunks.
What utter and complete idiocy.

I'm really not sure what to think about this one.
Can only imagine when this hits the streets here and the kids discover it; stupid in aerosol form. Probably healthier than drinking hand sanitizer.

other flavors, such as food?
reading about the science and tech behind these sprays, and how it affects olfactory and brain, here I wonder if:
could a few flavors of food be developed, such as pork roast, turkey dinner, or others; with the idea that overweight people could eat something healthier and smaller portioned, such as celery sticks, or salad, and then spray 1 puff of a meal flavor in their mouth.
could this then lead to the nose and stomach telling the brain that you ate a full dinner, thus providing the satiety to stop eating, when in reality you ate a bunch of flavorless celery sticks?
if the spray could work in this way to make people's brains think they ate a lot of their favorite foods, maybe the obese could lose weight easier, while getting healthier..

Wha?
And this is something we need? I find it abhorrent that a country renowned for it's wine and food would even attempt such a shortcut....it's a really sad statement when someone spends so much of their valuable yet limited 70+ years on this planet designing something as pointless as this....sheesh...*NEXT!*

How addictive is it?
Sure, ONE SPRITZ doesn't get you drunk, but the effect wears off quickly. What happens when someone takes one spritz every 5 minutes for several hours? Or goes all week taking a spritz every time the effect wears off? At least with liquor you have to wait a bit for the drunkenness, and there's a penalty if you over-do. Is this the new crack?
