NFL contracts
The NFL has a helmet contract with one company that doesn't allow competing helmet companies with 'better and safer' helmets to be purchased by teams. These 'better' helmets must be purchased by the player; and the helmet cannot display the name of the company that made the helmet. Aaron Rodgers (and several other NFL players) has been using one after having a concussion using the league helmet.
With the league's emphasis on safety for players, and the many players now suing the NFL over head injuries, let's see if the NFL breaks their current helmet contract, so that they can provide a safer helmet.
