Massachusetts has seen a tidal wave of such taxes over the past 5 years, yet obesity among every target group has continued to climb.

I agree with others here that it all starts with parenting.

Science has proven that rarely is being obese genetic. But there is an overwhelming amount of research pointing to poor education and poor parenting being at the heart of the obesity epidemic.
