I think the population as a whole supports some subsidization of renewables. I agree, a 50% price hike is not acceptable, but something like 10% is probably OK.

But the other piece is the incredible support for increased American drilling. Obama didn't jump on "all of the above" for nothing ... unlike Nelder, Obama really understands what the population supports.
