Is there enough food?
You guys attacked the direct cause but didn't look at the root cause (again!)

Yes, collectively mankind have the ability to produce enough food for 9+ billion people. Why we can't is due to corruption and a lack of trust in the abilities of our fellow human beings to want to better their lives.

Do-gooders (i.e., progressives, or today's liberals) believe people are incompetent and untrustworthy. Therefore, they must be controlled. WRONG! This is one of the most devastating means of preventing us from using the inherent, God-given ability to innovate and create (God himself is the greatest Creator of all, BTW, and we are made in His image). Free that ability and not only will we produce all the food needed, we will prosper in unimaginable ways in the process.

If you look at poverty and starvation, it always goes hand in hand with government corruption and greed. Eliminate the corruption, the poverty stops as people finally have a chance to make a better life for themselves.

By the Way (BTW), Pardon the grammatical errors in my previous post ...
But the itsy-bitsy, teenie-weeny little windows you give us to write our messages in make it difficult to see the entire picture clearly. From now on I'll have to remember to cut and past into and out of Word (since you also don't provide any spell check, unlike so many other similar windows).
