1.) China mobile needs to wake up as 3G growth slows. China Mobile reported the slowest growth in 3G additions in 19 months as only about 1.9 million subscribers opted to join the company's 3G network in July, a sharp fall from over 2.8 million in 3G net adds posted in June.

2.) Here's what's going wrong at Pandora right now. Pandora's fiscal Q2 2013 earnings showed yet another quarter of robust revenue growth -- and yet another loss on the bottom line. The market --buoyed by Pandora's mobile revenue growth -- boosted the stock on this news.

3.) 'Super wi-fi' poised for growth in U.S., elsewhere. So-called "Super Wi-Fi, which offers a bigger range than existing hotspots, is being deployed in the United States and generating interest in a number of countries, including Britain and Brazil.

4.) How Google is driving mobile video market growth. Google's top advertising customers are pushing for convergence of mobile and video quickly, which is turning into a strong catalyst of growth of the global mobile video market.

5.) Mobile DRAM sees phenomenal growth. The average density of Mobile DRAM too has increased. Mobile DRAM density in smartphones rose from 2.28 gigabits in Q2 2010 to 5.85 gigabits in Q2 this year.
