Unfortunately trust in the integrity of government sponsored climate research has been shattered after the cynical global taxation in the name of climate ploy. It won't come back anytime soon and may never recover.

Regardless of your views on the current U.S. administration, it’s a great thing that the federal government is making moves on the Web.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has unveiled its Climate Services site, Climate.gov, a portal that aggregates all the climate change information found on various government agencies’ websites.
The new site allows you to access governmental climate change data, relevant information and advice, products and services in one place.
With a fairly easy-to-use interface, the site is intended to answer questions from educators, business owners and the general public — you know, the rest of us folks who aren’t scientists. It’s even got an interactive “climate dashboard” that shows temperature, carbon dioxide levels, sunlight, sea level and arctic ice levels back to 1959.
For now, the site is in beta; it’s expected to be fully capable by 2011. Either way, it’s an easier way to get the facts in an easily digestible format.
